DEBORAH KAY WINCHESTER LEPPER

STANFIELD - Mrs. Deborah Lepper, 62, passed away October 9, 2019. Debbie was born July 6, 1957 in Charlotte, daughter of the late Jerry Winchester and Ruth Byrum Winchester. 

Debbie is survived by her husband, George Lepper of Stanfield, a son George Lepper II of Wrightsville Beach, NC, and daughter, Margaret Schultz (Kyle) of Charlotte. She is also survived by her sisters, Pam Morgan and Fran Robinson, brother in law, Ted Lepper, and sister in law, Marian Lepper Boyette.

Debbie was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School class of 1975. She received a master's degree in education and taught at Stanfield School and in Stanly County for 15 years. She was a devoted member of Loves Grove United Methodist Church where she also sang in the choir. Debbie was deeply loved by her family, students and church members. 

A celebraation of life will be held Saturday October 12th at 11AM at Loves Grove United Methodist Church with the Revendend Jim White officiating. The family will received friends prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America at www.hdsa.org or to a charity of your choice.
