ARTHUR (ARTIE) KARL RAIKES

CHARLOTTE - Mr. Arthur Karl Raikes, 33, of 3627 Stonehaven Drive, passed away October 19, 1990 at his home in Charlotte. He was born December 10, 1956 in Raleigh, son of the late Karl Ira and Peggy Raikes.

Survivors are his wife, Kimberly; mother, Mrs. Peggy Raikes; brother, Robert Raikes of Tampa; and sister, Mrs. Leah Pilcher of Rock Hill.

Artie was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School class of 1975. Artie, a Raleigh native, was a registered land surveyor for E.E. Reed Construction Company. He was a member of the Carolina Country Club and North Carolina Registered Land Surveyor’s Society.

Funeral is at 11AM Tuesday at McEwen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn cemetery. Visitation is 7-8PM Monday.
