CHARLES THOMAS BELTON

CHARLOTTE - Mr. Charles Thomas Belton, of 505 E. 8th St., passed away at Mercy Hospital at the age of 38 on August 20,1994. 

Charles was born in Charlotte NC on February 9, 1956. He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his brothers, Robert Belton of Washington, Moses Belton of Durham, Jerry Bolton and Donald Bolton of Charlotte; sisters, Mrs. Delores Lyles of Maryland, Mrs. Edith Carter and Miss Dorothy Belton of Charlotte. 

Charles graduated from South Mecklenburg High School and earned an Electrical degree from Johnson C. Smith University. He served in the US Navy from 1981 to 1984.

Funeral is at 2 PM Sunday at the United House of Prayer, Third Ward, where he was a member. Burial will be in Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 6 to 7 Saturday at the church. Beasley Funeral home is in charge.
