WILLIE LEE POLK, SR.

CHARLOTTE - Mr. Willie Lee Polk, Sr., 42, of 143 Gregg Street, passed away Monday, October 18, 1999 at Carolinas Medical Center. Willie was born September 16, 1957 in Charlotte.

Survivors include his son, Mr. Willie Lee Polk, Jr,; brothers, Mr. James Polk, Jr., and Mr. Seindel Polk; sisters, Mrs. Hazelene Foster and Mrs. Diane Hemphill, all of Charlotte.

Willie was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School class of 1975. He was employed as an electrician at Urban Communications.

A private service will be held at 1133 Leigh Avenue, Charlotte, NC.
