CALVIN TIMOTHY (TIM) GRICE 

CHARLOTTE - Mr. Calvin Timothy Grice passed away September 29, 2016 after a short but valiant battle with a neurological disorder. Tim was born on September 27, 1957 in Charlotte, NC; a true native "Charlottean".

Tim graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1975 and went on to graduate from Western Carolina University in 1979. Tim worked in Sales for his entire career. He had an esteemed career at Wykoff Ink before starting his own business, Formula One Coat-ings. He ended his career working with his best friend, Jeff Black, at Manufacturer's Associates of NC, Inc. He was a devoted Salesman and enjoyed meeting new people. Tim also enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.

Tim is survived by his daughters, Meredith Grice Neal (Christopher) of Richmond, VA; Jacy Grice of Charlotte; one grandson, Parker Neal of Richmond, VA; his brother, Thomas Bruce Grice Jr. (Suzanne) of Charlotte; his nieces Lauren Sabella (Nick) and Mary Cameron Grice and one nephew, Harrison Grice all of Charlotte. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Bruce Grice Sr. and Frieda Hancock Grice. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held at Red Rocks on Saturday at 3:30 PM. A memorial service will be held at Avondale Presbyterian Church on Sunday at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Tim to the Alzheimer's Association.
