CHARLOTTE - Fred Lee Carr Jr., 62,  passed away in Charlotte on August 28, 2018. Fred was born in Charlotte on August 16, 1956. He is predeceased by his father, Fred Lee Carr, Sr. in 1989.

Fred graduated from South Mecklenburg High School class of 1975.

Fred is survived by his wife, Marilyn Holmes Whitner; brothers; Vernon and Frank; sisters; Consuella, Alfreda, Rosa and Betty Carr, Mrs. Mary Jones and Mrs. Sheila Foster.
