PETER "MARC" LATTIMORE 

CHARLOTTE - Mr. Peter “Marc” Marcus Lattimore, 65, of Mint Hill, NC passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Marc was born June 9, 1957, son of Joe and Marjorie Lattimore. Marc graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1975. He started working in the grocery business before he graduated and worked at Harris Teeter and Food Lion until he retired in March 2022. He was a lifelong Braves and Panthers fan. Sports were very important to Marc and you could usually find him on a golf course on his days off. Most of all, family was important to Marc and he would make time for birthdays, holidays, and family vacations. Marc was a provider for his family, a dedicated husband and father; and he will be greatly missed. 

Marc is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cathy Lattimore; his son, James “Jay" Lattimore (Mandy); his daughter, Jessica Lattimore (Jereme); his grandchildren, Penelope Lattimore, Tobias Lattimore, Donovan Hager, Abigail Hager, and Liliana Hager; his brother, Joel Lattimore (Margaret); his cousins, Johnny Crowe and Kay Roth (Dick); and many more loving extended family members. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC. A visitation will be held prior from 11:00 amto 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Lattimore Family Cemetery, 5 Points Road, Polkville, NC.
