Tripp Haynes  

Alton Myles "Tripp" Haynes III, 68, passed away on September 19, 2025 at Autumn Care of Norfolk. He was born March 7, 1957 in Raleigh, NC to Christine Boger Haynes, an educator and Myles Haynes, a Charlotte attorney. 

Tripp grew up in Charlotte, NC and graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1975 and Wake Forest University in 1980 with a BA in Business Administration. He found his career niche as an independent insurance adjuster. Tripp loved history, fishing and small town living. He considered Plymouth, NC his home as an adult.

Tripp was a very devoted son and was very involved in helping care for his parents as they aged. He was especially close to his Mom and faithfully visited her every Sunday until Covid restrictions prevented him from going.

Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his sister Beth Haynes; brother, Bob Haynes; two nephews,  Brandon Field (Allison) and Cameron Haynes; 3 great nieces; 1 great nephew; aunt, Fran Morrison and uncle, Bob Boger.
