ELIZABETH ELLISON BLOUNT

CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Elizabeth Ellison Blount, 60, of 3210 Lemongrass Ln., passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center. She was born October 9, 1954, daughter of Rosa Ellison of Charlotte.

Elizabeth is a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School class of 1957. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Cecil D. Blount of Charlotte, NC; son, Antonio Ellison (Chaeisse), both of the U.S Army, of Ft. Lewis, Washington; daughter, Ashley Ellison of California; mother, Rosa M. Ellison of Charlotte, NC; sisters Mary Washington (Eloid) of Charlotte, NC, Eloise of Garland, NC, and Loretha Johnson (William) of Monroe, NC; brother, Larry Ellison of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Funeral services are entrusted to Gilmore Mortuary Services of Rock Hill, SC. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 3, 1:00 pm, at 2312 Beatties Ford Rd., Charlotte, NC 28216. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Salisbury Military National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. Rev. Cecil Gilmore will officiate and eulogize.
